Hi, I’m Trish and welcome to Again Boutiques.

McLean has been my home for more than 45 years. It’s where I was raised and where I’ve raised my family, built lifelong friendships, and watched this community grow into something I feel genuinely proud to be part of. I love the familiar faces, the local businesses we champion, and the way people show up for one another. For me, community isn’t a concept it’s lived, day by day, in the places we gather and the relationships we keep.

That sense of connection paired with a lifelong love of interesting things and intention…runs through everything I do. I’ve always been a bit of a jack of all trades, happily wearing many hats. Over the years I’ve explored different business ventures, flipped and redesigned homes, spearheaded the local Mclean foodies Facebook group and built an art collection that continues to inspire my creativity. I’m drawn to spaces that feel thoughtful, pieces that feel elevated, and details that make you pause and think.

My love of craftsmanship began with my grandmother. She believed in owning fewer things, but always the best. “Quality lasts,” she would say, not as a slogan, but as a way of life. One of her most used pairs of shoes were the Ferragamo vera bow flats: elegant, feminine, impeccably made. Sixty years later, that same style is still worn, still coveted, still relevant…proof that when something is designed with care, it never truly goes out of fashion.

I still carry her philosophy (and many of her pieces) with me today: a vintage Gucci purse from the 1960s I bring out on special days, a perfectly tailored Gucci wool skirt, and a black mink coat from Garfinkel’s (one of Washington, D.C.’s old favorites) that still turns heads decades later. These aren’t just clothes. They’re memory-holders… treasures with history, soul and stories meant to be shared AGAIN.

Consignment has been part of my life for more than 20 years. I’ve consigned, collected, curated, and held onto pieces that still make my heart beat a little faster — not simply to make space, but out of respect for what they were made of and what they represent. Over time, I realized I wasn’t alone. So many women value quality over quantity, feel uneasy about the churn of the current fast fashion, and want to shop more intentionally.

That realization became the foundation for Again Boutiques.

Again Boutiques isn’t simply about resale. It’s about reverence for artisans, craftsmanship, and stories that stand the test of time. It’s also sustainability in its truest form: extending the life of exceptional pieces, reducing waste, and choosing fashion that respects both people and the planet.

Again Boutiques is where all my favorite worlds come together: fashion, design, art, people, and community. Because when something is made well, it deserves to be cherished and loved AGAIN.

If you’re consigning, shopping, browsing, or simply stopping in to say hello — welcome. I’m truly glad you’re here.   -Trish
